Martin AhlgrenBorn in Scotland and growing up in Sweden, Martin was in his teens when he shot his first music video. At 21, he moved to New York and later graduated in cinematography from the city’s renowned School Of Visual Arts. Martin received the prestigious ASC Heritage Award twice in row. In 2001 a film that Martin shot received an Academy Award (2001 Student Academy Award Winner “Warmth”) and earned him recognition at the Venice Film Festival. Martin is one of the most promising young cinematographers today and he works extensively in commercials and music videos. Most recently he shot music videos for The Rolling Stones, Common and The Sugababes. His commercial clients include Budweiser, Amazon, Saab, JVC and many more. Martin lives in New York, and works extensively there, in LA Miami, throughout Europe, South Africa, and also Taiwan, Japan and elsewhere in the Far East.
